SPAM APM, for good players, is used to get them in the motions of scanning the map and moving their mouse quickly for micro and more importantly to keep their focus on the game.

Selecting probes for the first two minutes actually doesn’t count towards apm… this guy plays with 350-400 apm and is extremely good despite that. Also, sure looks like 3 probes on gas to me.

simply just hold shift and press right click to the minerals while ur probe was just about to build..it will resume harvest the minerals afterwards >_>
ps:this is why protoss is much easier to micro
